Is this a good buy ?

A good friend of mine wants to sell me his Jonsered 90 series with a 20' bar. The saw does run because he let me try it, (it does need some fresh gas though). The saw has sat for several years, but like I said we had it running Friday night. He is selling it because he has a new Stihl. I'm guessing the saw is at least 20 yrs old. I am not a full time logger, I just cut firewood to burn and re-sell. I like big, heavy, powerful saws. I know it is used, but was also curious about parts availability. I would appreciate any feedback.

the old 920 and 930 j-reds were great logging saws back in the day.

powerful but heavy. very tough.

i think some parts are still around for the old saw. don't know if all the parts are still around for it though.:greenchainsaw:
