Anyone got a Poulan Wild Thing, or similiar, on the cheap. I'm looking for my entry to the Wild Thing racing fun.

There's not really that much to know about them they are simple as falling asleep.
You've GOT to squeeze the trigger and pop the throttle linkage out before the carb will come off.
The little "worm gear" that drives the oil pump is the biggest P.I.T.A. I've encountered so far but you won't have to deal with it if your bearings and seals are good.
Have a T-25 and a T-27 handy, Poulan isn't advanced enough for one size fits all yet.
All that I've taken apart so far have had the plastic transfer bridges Light (color) on right, Dark (4 letters) on left (4 letters) and I've heard that they need to go back like they came out. (Pay attention as the above rule might not be the case with your saw)

Andre's saw is standard configuration while mine are strato, both types seem to run pretty strong. Standard may be easier to work on but I don't see how.

Any questions just holler, I'm sure someone here will be able to help.
