My wife planted this little bush way to close to the house nearly 15 years ago while I was overseas.
Today it is nearly 20' tall and I have to keep it cut back to prevent it from taking over the side porch (heavy shade, north end of the house)
Loamy soil, it gets a lot of rain directly from runoff off the roof of the house.
It's turned into one of my favorite plants because my bees love this thing this time of the year.
I want to plant more, further away from the house, but I'm having trouble IDing this thing and once it went into the ground my wife went brain dead on what it is.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Thus is it in the foreground left ...
These are 21 day old sprouts after a recent pruning ...
