I got this bugger free. Did not start very well I pulled the flywheel off seen a set of points I sanded with very fine paper and cleaned with electric spray and adjusted. I went a little bit big from factory a couple thou. At the time I did not realize it. For the most part I only run Husqvarna. This now starts so very easy and with a lot of power. I don't climb trees or in a bucket truck. I know that saws today are 10 better. I got this free and made it work great for what I do

Good running small saws. Some folks remove the points and install a Nova Module. Really helps starting the saw.

Replacing the fuel hose line and felt filter will likely make a huge difference:

Parts 23 and 24. I replaced these on mine and it roared to life. I think E-bay vendors still have them. Service manual might be nice for you to have:

I might do this someday ! As of right now keeping the points they are cool
