Cylinder cleaned up great and muffler mod done, just waiting on parts now.

It's alive!!!! All checked out good, 150psi compression warm. It should improve more once it gets some time on it. It seems like it was bad fuel that killed this saw. New piston, fuelline, fuel filter, and air filter. I will be getting it back to it's home tommorrow afternoon and hopefully in some wood too. Mark, you need to loose the 16" .325 chain and step up to some 3/8!!! You will be suprised how much better this thing would cut!!! I guess I should give Mark a call.....
Great job fixing that saw for him!! You say probably bad fuel. If this means old fuel, make sure he gets the [friendly but firm] talk about fresh fuel.... That 036 can last him a few more decades now. Good job.
