Stihl 036 QS Cylinder bolt up to a 036?

My 036 has no decompression valve. Will a cylinder from an 036 QS or 036 Pro fit my 036? I would really like to add decompression. Thanks.

Excellent, I thought that it would work. How much would this upgrade cost me? Cylinder, gaskets, etc.

It will fit, but it will be costly if using new factory parts. Your best bet is to find a nice used cylinder.
