stihl 290 price on ebay

my cousin sold one of his "well used" 290's on ebay,he has a firewood buisness.
the damn saw went for almost the price of a new one.....people are nuts.
he made out like a bandit,used the saw for a year and sold it....went and got a new 290 for about $100.00 plus his ebay money!!!

People are GLUED to names. Get the right buyer and they'll pay anything....

It's all in the write up too... I sold 2 saws a couple years back... A Jonsereds 70E and a McCulloch PM610. Both saws went for over 200 bucks apiece... They were in great condition, and both had new bars and chains on them.

But no way would I pay that much for those saws. I think people also get caught up in the "gotta win" thing too... kinda like gambling almost.

my cousin basically used the saw for a year hard for a $100.00,he has a couple more to go after his work dies down,so beware of any 290's on ebay!!!!!
heck he has 3 or 4 dead carcasses too,he might as well list them too.
