I have a very very nice stihl ms650r that came to me with a scored piston. The saw was strait gassed. While I had her tore down I ported the cylinder with help from elmoobs and Jason. Needless to say she is a runner. ,It's sitting at 98-123-82 squish is at 20 and a triple port muffler.
I know alot of fellas haven't heard of the saw. What it is is basically a 064 sitting on 660 chassis. The jug is a decompression ks and she is a runner.
If a person had a 660 jug laying around and wanted to concert it. It would be a direct bolt on. But I wouldn't this saw is a serious runner. 750.00 shipped20160829_141636.jpg 20160829_141631.jpg 20160829_141636.jpg Screenshot_20160829-142759.png

It has some scuffing on the bottom bit besides that it does. And none of it has been touched up. No black marker on the stihl logo or lines. Lol

Well if someone don't show serious intrested in it today I am going to tear it back down and put a 660 cylinder on her and repost. With is a shame because I don't think anyone would have any regrets on this saw.

I had a 650 for a while years ago. It had a 25" b/c and I could pretty much stand on it without it slowing down in the cut. Always ran and cut like a champ. But I am a husky guy, never ran a 064 or 660, so I can't compare.
