I would change the oil with straight 30 wt and see what it sounds like ,and filter also

Okay. I have to go to Lowes today so I'll pick some up.
I figured out how to drain it, just scared about putting the new oil in.
lol, I was serious. how about a pic of the smoke when it's running. we might can see I the color of it. it may not be oil related if one of the boneheads messed with the fuel screw.

If you've got a manual look up the amount it requires and measure it out in a measuring cup and pour it in where it says engine oil ,
My priority today is to finish putting up the board insulation on the front and back porch in case we get any strong wind from Irma.
Ran out of board - had some blow off and break last wind storm. Putting them up better this year with 1x2s for support screwed in. I had been using just roofing nails with the plastic washers.
This stuff is great -blocks all of the wind, rain, snow and a lot of the cold

Does sound kinda bad , sounds like lack of lubrication, we all know how that hurts, it looks like oil smoke , very possible a broken ring or not hitting on both cylinders,
Can you hear that sputtering/clanking sound it's making? Would that be misfiring?

Think I'll drain the oil and mow 'till I run out of gas. See what happens.

I didn't see any straight 30 weight on the motor oil isle, so I went around the corner and there it was, next to the 2-cycle oil.

I remember feet are feet , nothing pretty about feet , stubby fingers
Actually, my toes are better than average... I can pick things up with them they are so long. Nothing stubby about my toes.
