Guess it is - you 5'1" 95lb weakling....:hmm3grin2orange:
Fess up Gary.... what are your real stats...

HAHAHA!

Okay Andy... good point! Didn't think of it that way.

6' 5", 245 lbs. Big saws with long bars that weigh over 25 pounds ain't no prob here.

Andy... got any 28" Stihl Rollomatic's layin' around???

Yup...a couple of ounces here or there or even a pound or two doesn't really matter. By the end of a long day every damn one of 'em is way too heavy! Bob

Bob... I'll buy that for a dollar!

I had a chance to measure my saws with a very accurate digital scale, only does kilos unfortunately
All saws were topped up with fuel and bar oil
357xp 20" bar 8.18 kg
372xp 24" bar 9.28 kg
Stihl ms290 18" bar 8.17 kg
stihl ms 250 17" bar 6.25 kg

I was a little surprised that the 290 and 357 were so close, the 357 always felt a little lighter to me,guess not

ms460 24", 3/4 handle, small dawgs, full fluids 22.1lbs
advertised power head weight 14.6lbs

066 28", full wrap, large dawgs, full fluids 24.9lbs
advertised powerhead weight 16.8lbs

so i guess one can add bout 4-8 lbs to get operating weight
depending on saw size

zzrcanuck
maybe u use the 357 in the am and the 290 n the pm!!!!!!

066-36" bar-26 pounds
395-36" bar-27pounds

Jeff

I have and run both of these often back to back and although I actually would rather run the 395 because it is smoother, the 066 seems more than a lb lighter. Not doubting you, just surprised.

Make sure you don't fill them up with LEADED Gasoline before you weight them!
