Propane is currently $2 a gallon and change, so say 200 gallons of Propane = 1 cord of Pine.
But my Propane Boiler vents in plastic not metal so big difference in efficiency when burning.
I think the break even is about $240, but then you have to handle wood.
Most people around here do it part time. There is one guy who has a yard but it always seems to be the same wood sitting there?
