We discussed this with the gentleman who was haulin saws up high in the rear of an SUV, when the vehicle stops abruptly in an accident, the load shifts forward immediately and with no regard to what is in it's path.

I am somewhat agreeable to doing what you have to do to get by, but you won't be needing firewood if you are crushed by it.

You may never have an accident, but there is always that possibility.
 
Did that once with the wifes' convertible, She was quite impressed. :cry:
 
Wisconsin just within the last couple of years legalized hauling an unregistered animal without it being in full view (strapped to the hood, tailgate down, etc).

Hmmm... so it's illegal to haul a deer carcass down to the registration station if it's in full view? Or are you required to have it in full view before it gets registered?

Either way, I just haul it down the bar by my in-laws and nobody bats an eye...
