I'm hoping Scott will agree to weld the crankshaft. There's a guy in Crossville that could weld up the crack of dawn without warping.
What's your next tool purchase Randy? A nice Tig? That would be nice addition.

Are you welding it where its pressed together?
The true the crank to perfection, then weld the pin so that it can't slip. I think they do fine once balanced and welded. DD, do you find them still a problem even after balancing and welding?

That's another discussion, lol. As Dozer Dan pointed out, they're too weak for a stock saw.
