Kinda like waiting to buy a gun until you actually need it.
Then it's too late, if you wait, there will no doubt be thousands of others "needing" one too.
Like after a storm!
I dont need a big saw because my saw does everything i need it to do.
The only reason I am getting a 70cc+ saw is for milling and right now i dont need it so I am gonna have to disagree with you on that. I think the gun comparison was way off as well but thats just me.:msp_biggrin:
If we have an Ice storm, you'll know where to find a few BIG saws...
Since I can't use more than 2 at a time and have...
Well....
A few more than that...
:monkey:
I may just end up messaging you some day. I have 10 acres out towards galena still in mo though. Its all timber and alot of trees that are not doing well and i bet after a good ice storm I will have alot of trees to cut.
Those trees got real close to not existing a year and a half ago! That's pretty close to where the freaking air blender started...

I would rather be cutting than anything else, I simply have not had much time to put my interest in front of family, kids, and responsibility. The remodeling will eventually get done and most of my responsibilities towards my parents and grandmother wont get under way for 2013 until spring. I had hoped to cut over Christmas break but it rained and rained and rained. I did manage to bring this home before the rain.

Don;t want to be repetitive, since some of y'alls have seen this pic b4, but given the OP's request...
While it's new I'm trying to keep it clean. But if it's like everything else, those crevices will get grungy in a hurry.
I retired a toothbrush from active tooth cleaning duty and reassigned it to saw crevice-cleaning duty this weekend, (can't use same tooth brushes I use on the bikes because those are really grungy and greasy, with road dirt mixed in)
Got some more cutting and splitting to do Saturday, as we have a whole week of good sunny drying weather coming up (except Sunday with flurries)
If'n I never run mine then how is this 36" DBH Post Oak gonna get on the ground this weekend?
