I'm thinking about buying a Wood Beaver 1x37 Easy processor. This machine will cut 15" wood according to the dealer. I watched one run with smaller wood and was wondering if the infeed conveyor will pull a 15" log into the saw?
We have a fair amount of red oak in this area and as you know it is not light wood. Any other comments on the pros and especially the cons of this machine would be appreciated.

I would try to keep the wood in the 13" and under range. Wood over that size really slows down production. The infeed will do it, but sometimes some manual work to get max sized wood thru the machine. We used a 10' section of roller conveyor by the infeed to increase log length and were able to process full length trees (up to 50') with the original infeed conveyor. We could run 2 full cords an hour pretty easily with 2 or 3 people working.
