I bought the Husqvarna 180bt and let me tell ya, this is one powerful blower that starts so dang easy. Congrats on the new BR600, I looked at them before I bought the Husky and the Stihl should make for a good blower.

I put my full chisel chain on yesterday and it was also my first time using a chain like this. Right before I put the chain on, I swapped the cat muffler for a non-cat muffler on my Husky 359 and then tried it out. Between the muffler and the chain it felt like I got a brand new saw!

I was missing the top two screws. I got those out and it came off with a breez. I put the new non-cat muffler on the saw and it now sounds like a race bike. lol

What am I doing wrong? I have worked on it for the last hour and can't get the muffler off so I can put on the non cat muffler.

I have read some good things on the Dolmar 5100. Man, there are just so many saws I want! lol

:agree2: Sounds like you have the bigger stuff in check and now you need a light weight saw for the little stuff. Get the 260 and don't look back. Or if you have a "good" Husqvarna dealer in your area then spend the same money on a 346xp and have a saw that will smoke the 260. :jawdrop:

Well, I went yesterday and spent my 346xp money on a new Husqvarna 180BT.

I've held both and the 346xp feels better to me and from what everyone here says the 346 will flat out smoke a 260.

I agree, this is a wonderful site with a lot of very knowledgeable folks. Everyone here really helped me make an educated decision when I bought my new saw the other day. Be careful if you stick around too long because CAD is highly contagious!!

Well I already have the 359 for the bigger stuff, I just wanted the 346 for the smaller stuff and to have a saw that is so light and easy to use. Would I be better off with a Husky smaller than the 346?

I'm just curious if the Husky 346 has enough power to get the job done cutting hardwood up to 20"
