Maybe I might be the only one that sees you first in line to jump all over Brad, and it's probably just coincidence, but for some reason it seems that way to me or I wouldn't say it.

I honestly don't care, if you have a bone to pick with Brad, that's fine, but I just don't see how anything Brad does should bother you.

I personally find it odd since Brad was on your side when you were going into the hospital a while back and you guys seemed like good friends...not sure where it all broke down between the two of you, but it's just that, between the two of you!

I'm just sayin'...;)

Thats just it, I haven't been in no lineup to "Jump all over Brad" and especially at the front of any line up. I've never started any threads about him and I honestly didn't know this one was about one of his saws, I seen the title to it and that was the first thing that popped into my head so I went with it, not until Andy got upset did I realize that he was defending Brad again. After the broken 066 fin thread not long ago I decided it wasn't worth the time of day to worry about what Brad does or his transactions, I don't care and that is the reality. It seems everyone else can speak their mind and "keep it real" but if I do it than I'm a D-bag.... Fark that, I have had difference of opionions that differ from Brad and Andy and they can with me as they have in open forum. The only difference is that if I do it than I'm looking to go out of my way to pick on someone or that I have "issues". Check out my ported 7900 thread and see who took that one down. I figured if they can do it to me than I shouldn't reserve my comments when it's on the flipside. But as of late I haven't said anything, Brad and I have talked friendly towards each other I didn't realize I was at the head of the surge to pick on Brad.

If your going to port saws and turn a buck you better have a thick skin. There are going to be people that think they got hosed and others that think you walk on water, from what I've seen thats just the way it goes. There seems to be a long list, so if a guy is making money doing it than suck it up and laugh all the way to the bank:D

I'm not sure what to say, it's ok to have differences. Just no need to cop a 'tude in your replies when it happens.

There's plenty of other p!$$in@ contests you can compete in here at AS without that.

The problem with this thread basically is the negative angle of the first post, it more or less was calling people out for a "fight".

The offer in the add is more than fair, if someone is looking for a saw like that.

I remember the "saw builder wars" that used to be on here, and I surely don't want those back!

Well said Brad. A ported 346XP is not for everyone. If you want a high performance chainsaw with the "correct" porting already done to it so it runs like a scalded ars dog, pretty fair price for one, IMHO.

Don't ask me what I get for a complete high performance Quadrajet carburetor that will make you remove your Holley and take a sledgehammer to the gas guzzling POS? We actually have an 8 month wait time for them. You really do get what you pay for with some things, and there are those out there that DEMAND the very best from their equipment....FWIW.....Cliff

AS soon as I would get out of sight of our house (lived on dirt road)
I would stop and turn air breather cover upside down
on the 327 with Quadrajet in Mom & Dads car. Just so I could
listen to the Q-jet moan when 4 barrel kicked in.
Think something was wrong with it as it moaned all the time :)

Exactly! Every thread this guy starts is like this. Just go back and look at his started threads. He's an ultratroll!
 
anyone who has done any type of work like this would know the asking price is more than fair. i do respect all the work and effort brad puts into his builds and this site. however it is easy to see why some have no respect for brad,he has attacted me for no reason in the past,and lets face it,the 066 build/sale proved him to be less than honest. oh,and brad the ms261 has been for sale to the public since late oct./early nov.,just as i said it would be. i received my pre-production/demo mid sept.,just as i said i would. just becuase a person is not as comfortable as you are about showing off their efforts/accomplishments in life,does not mean it does not happen. i have said it before,this is a site for all of us to enjoy saws,why people of common interests can't play nice is beyond me. it is a free country,if people don't like the price of your saws/work,they should shut up and move on! i for one feel they are more than fair.

if you would read before you post than you would know that i said i would have a demo in mid sept,and i got it you idiot! thats hardly 8 months,or did you ride the short bus to school?
