It's a long shot, but I need an 046 tank. PM if you have anything.

I just bought a 044 on Ebay that turned out to be a 046 (dont get me started). If I get stung with the purchase, and the seller turns out to be a dud, you can buy the tank. It is very nice, but I needed a 44.

I have an 036 pro that runs good but the compression is low on it. It's in decent shape but the engine cover has a good sized crack in it and the clutch cover has a piece broken off towards the back of it. I'm looking to trade it off or sell it. Would really be interested in trading it for a good 026/260 but I'm open to offers. If interested in it shoot me a PM.

I have a new 064/066 fuel tank chain guard (p/n 1122 351 0901) that I cant use, and an 064 fuel tank handle with one small piece chipped off the lower handle.

Anyone have an Husky 246 they would be wiling to let go of? Have a 028Super as a trade or?

I took a look at the auction you mention, that's not an 046. It's an 044 or MS-440. The 046 and MS-460 always came with compression release
and the saw pictured in the auction has no compression release.

I have a complete saw and a parts saw. Would like to sell/trade them together.

The Cummins was basically unchanged, and a bus, freightliner, etc can be directly swapped into a Dodge truck... (alternator/charging might need work...) but other than that, they are the same...

You're telling me you can fit a 525 Cummins from a diesel pusher motor home into a little Ram?

It ain't gonna fit... that engine is about 3.5-4 feet tall from the bottom of the oil pan to the top of the valve cover... you'd have to heavily modify the frame/suspension and everything else on a pick up truck to get that thing to fit.

Anyhow, I am looking for an air filter for a Mac 790... gonna need one on hand for when that thing does get put together.

No, what he said is any 5.9 Cummins will fit betwixt applications. Common as dirt in the construction and transportation industry. Now, there may be a few exceptions here and there, but a non turboed one was replaced with a motor from a totaled pickup on a roller packer for the outfit I worked for. Only 20 years difference in the model years. A Dodge gasser 1 ton is a 3/4 ton diesel, so yes, the frame is modified. It fits.
