After cutting a .035" popup in the piston, and then dropping the jug .045", I ended up with a squish of .020" and compression just shy of 180 PSI. I didn't see much change in cut times in this wood though. Maybe it needs more time to learn. When listening to this vid and the MMd only vid, it does look stronger and seems to be holding more RPMs in the cut now. The stop watch isn't seeing it though. Maybe I just need bigger wood to show the difference. Regardless, the saw runs very nice.

In that size wood you'd probably see an increase in cut speed with an 8 pin .325.

It seems to be holding the RPM very well.

Dolmar 420 that some rumdum replaced fuel lines on and reversed the lines to the primer bulb.

I ever get my hands on that guy...

Lemme know if you see him. He was last spotted in my bathroom mirror. Looks amazingly like me for some reason.

Cured.

Next is to get the 25CVA I tore down before vacation back together. Gonna be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, as I didn't take a lot of pics of the teardown. At least I have all the parts (and a complete DA out in the garage to use for reference if needed). Maybe tomorrow night.

There's a Béal TR640 (it's a brand new Dolmar PS-6400 with the non-SLR muffler, 13K5 limited coil and the easier adjustable carb)on my bench, waiting for his 79cc OEM kit. His new HD air filter, full wrap handlebar and US spikes are already there!

I had this Poulan-made Craftsman on the bench for the last couple weeks on and off.

This is my first chainsaw. After a carb rebuild, new fuel lines and a couple other things it's running pretty well for my $35 total investment.

Just today I picked up my second saw, an older Echo CS-302. The seller said it ran, but the pull cord was broken.

This afternoon and put on a new cord and installed a new plug and it runs. It'll need some basic tuning, but so far I'm happy with it for the price I paid.

SMKS has about six bottle openers on his Magnetic tool strip and Wig's has a bottle of whiskey....I always figured half the members on were half tuned in, with
some of the things that get posted on here....:hmm3grin2orange:

Part of my bench holds the beer fridge...

Not a chainsaw, but a couple chainsaws will have to go to pay for this evenings purchase:) I've had my eyes on this model for several years now. So we're in Findaly, OH for the weekend visiting my wife's family. I went into this gun store to buy some .22 rounds for the rifle I bought for my daughter Anna. A couple hours later I walked out with this, lol. Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter .44 Magnum

I've had a bunch of different guns over the years. Never kept any pistols much. If I had one I should have kept, it was a SS S&W model 19 in .44 mag.....

Very nice Brad.....

I can't help but notice it ain't ported, not even a muzzle mod... :hmm3grin2orange:

Nice Bisley, Brad.

Need the password for G&A so the rest of the gun nuts can see it?
