Looking for an ignition system for a Echo 550 EVL. I think a 400EVL will also work.. not sure. Have a few Stihl parts or dead presidents for trade.
Need a coil and black flywheel pickup (the IPL calls it "electronic box") for a Husky 288. Part #'s are 501 81 28-01 for the coil and 501 81 27-02 for the box. Have $$$ to trade. Thanks.
I ended up with an aftermarket one. It seems to work fine so far. It came from a former site sponsor.
May have to look into that. I put new leads in mine, the one for the kill switch was bad. Was out cutting with it today and it died and wouldn't restart. Checked for spark, nothing, put in a different plug, checked all connections and still nothing.

My 288 did the are thing. I looked and some how missed the AM ones.....ended up OEM. I spent over three times as much for them but all is well with the 288 now.

Go buy one of the Chinese re-pop carbs off eBay from hutzl or H&L or weedeaterman.com
They work pretty darn good for pretty cheap.
