Hey everyone, I see alot of GTG in the states surrounding me but none in Indiana. Im in the North East part so Kentucky and Tennessee are a drive but a Michigan one would be close.

Thanks for the input.

Where abouts in Indiana are ya? I'm 45 minutes NE of Fort Wayne, right on the state line.

Hey OH_Varmntr, I'm about 30 minutes north of Fort Wayne. Ur in Ohio right? Been to any gtg over there?

I'm in Ohio... A GTG in Indiana would be nice :)

There was one in May in Canton Ohio that I attended. I would love to make another this year!!

I am 2 hours from Ft. Wayne and would be interested. Where are you in Ohio Dex?

Yes, in Ohio by my backyard is a stone's throw from Indiana. Literally.

Haven't been to a GTG but it sure would be fun,

I would like to do another in late October or November when it is starting to get cool outside. That when your suppose to cut wood right? We could have a nice big fire and some chili.

Your place? If so, I will come in from the back this time... I can make some chili or we could do a stew. If the latter, I will need to know by the 21st so I can bring my pot back from VA.

Elect right on, that sounds awesome, I would to be in if you have! I've never been to one so from what I understand we gather some where and watch guys cut cookies and what not, talk about porting. Maybe do some saw racing. Drink some beer and eat some chili, unwind by the camp fire? I can understand time in getting it together but expense wise what's the cost if people bring stuff?

Great just talking about it has me ready to go!

Someone has to gather and set up the wood. Most people don't have a bunch of 30" trees they can drop in their back yard to have one so they have to scrounge or buy logs.

The tree guy that is 10 minutes south of me has a huge pile of logs. I know they cut them up and sell them for firewood. Maybe I can talk him into letting us cut firewood instead of cookies. Anyone be into that?
