What the difference between the 2159 and 2258, just the cat muff? What about 2258 vs 2260?

No surprices really - the Echo 620 is heavier than the 590 also in the specs - and then the 620's wrap handle likely adds a little.
wrap handle, mag vs plastic clutch cover, outer spike, aluminum vs plastic wrap all adds to the weight of the 620. 3/4 wrap probably is only a very small portion of the extra weight though. i dont have a standard 620P to compare though.

Yes I'm suprised the 6400 weighs that much. I think I will save up for a 7900 or 7910. Same weight right?

heavier but not really any larger than the others. 7910 is 14lb 12oz. kitty cat is heavy

Ty for the comparison. Now I don't have to drain my 590 to weigh it lol.

I'm actually kinda surprised at how little difference there is in size between the jonney abd and 6100. Looking at my 6100 and a 562xp I would think there was more difference.
I would suspect that they are actually closer in spec due to the 562 being a large mount vs the 2258/60 small mount.

That to me is the most interesting thing about this all. Our perception of size vs real measurements of the saws.
thanks for doing this, there is probably more 50-60cc saws cutting firewood than any other. It amazes me as well how superficial this crowd is here over a few onces or tenths of a horsepower. Not a bad choice of saw to be had in this bunch for sure!

I don't think you could go wrong with any of these saws or a 362/562. Price and dealer support are the biggest factors. Couple of these are a tad heavy for the 60cc class but none are objectionable in the weight department. Another interesting weight that I just can't do with new saws that are for sale would be a fully fueled and oiled PHO weight. That might be even more interesting than the dry weights
