028 Cylinder ID

I have a old 028 with metal tank that was given to me. I got around to tearing into it and discovered an pointless ignition coil and a newer flywheel.

After pulling the jug, I discovered it was 44mm, the serial number is 87xxxxx. Is this the original cylinder?

There are no Stihl markings or mahle. Just a double dollar sign and 979/3B.


Piston has the same double dollar.

I can see the K and S now. It did look like a $$
