spent 4 hours today cutting up this beauty. it is about 36" across just up from where it fell off the tree. took a few friends with me my 362, 044 and 660. ran them all, the 660 was using square ground skip chain. it could cover my boots with sawdust/chips very quickly. the more i run that saw the more i like it. couldn't get the truck very close and didn't bring the tractor, cause i couldn't take it to the log (log was in my uncle's garden) so i loaded i'm guessing close to 2 cords of green oak by hand. left about another 1/4 cord (3 quartered round) for the guy who rents one of the houses on my uncle's farm.
here she is
progress
we had one victim, oh well needed a new handle.
full truck
at the wood pile
next up. this guy came down in the same storm. it's just under 60" across and also the reason i bought the 660
