I dont know if it helps one deciding what length to order on the .325 .050 bars in stihl mount but it wouldnt matter to me if they were 16 or 18. I would probably rather have the 16 but if 18 was more popular I would be in for one of those. Just need to see pricing.
 
I've been following this since the beginning and I'm one of the guys that's been whineing to get a line on Sugi's other than catch as catch can on Ebay.The most confusion seems to be the 16"-18" bars in .325 or 3/8.Why don't you just run a poll?You know like:
1)16" .325 50
2)16" 3/8 50
3)18" .325 50
4)18" 3/8 50
Winners get what they want and the rest of us adapt.
 
Do you also have access to Sugi laminates? Though not as sexy as the light weights, they weigh lighter...er... and go to 20" on both mounts. They also have really cool carvingbars. I have a 20" Sugi Laminate on order. Here they cost half as much as Stihl laminates. And Oregon laminates are difficult to get in 20".

So...................there are large Husky mount (9mm slot, with no spacers) Sugihara LW 3/8-.063G bars that are 32" and 36" in addition to the 12mm Stihl mount 3/8-.050G and 3/8-.063G 32" bars and the 12mm Stihl mount 3/8-.063G 36" bar (that can be used on a large Husky with spacers)? Just making sure I understand.

Just to muddy the waters more could you order raw bars to get to 15,order the tips separate so we could roll our own?Not that this isn't complicated enough.

Any 16" bar is a special order.
They don't have anything in .063 under 32".
The Stihl mount will fit a Husky small mount with spacers..... ordering the small Husky mounts will leave the Stihl guys out of the 16" bars.
They make a .325 tip
All the bars are replaceable tip except hard nosed bars.
Standard bars (only two are standard weight) are not light weight and cost a little less, everything else is a reduced weight bar.

Looking at the list above, it looks like they don't have any .063G bars at all. Don't see any 36" bars listed there either. the only bar I see over 28" is that one Stihl mount 3/8-.050G 32" bar...

I did find some other 32-36" bars using the "Part Chooser" utility linked to from the Weedeaterman site.

SV3U-3Q80HV is the 3/8-.063G 32" (105DL) Stihl mount bar. (Yellow spacers would be used for a Husky).

SV3U-3Q90HV is the 3/8-.063G 36" (114DL) Stihl mount bar. (Yellow spacers would be used for a Husky).

Are either (or both) of those last two bars available still?

Just so everyone knows....... the Stihl to husky bar adapter works on the Stihl Sugi bars. This is why I'm getting Stihl mount in all of em.
 
I just got a package of stihl to husky adapters from homelite410 and they're real nice. Much better than the rings that sugihara uses.
