Just got home from the GTG at the Dodgegeeks. And guess what - Still no pics. forgot my camera!

Sure had a great time! The saw-running and visiting with like minded souls was fantastic! And the food! The food was awesome!

The headline was supposed to say Thanks to Andy and Sarah for hosting the event, but clumsy fingers + laptop = shortened headline. Hosting a GTG is NO small feat! So much work and time into getting everything ready. You guys did an amazing job! Also, thanks to those who donated the door prizes too! I am not sure who all donated these, so I will thank everyone collectively so as not to leave anyone out!

Oh, did I mention I won a pair of safety pants in the door prize giveaways? How cool is that!

Not only did you forget your camera-You forgot the girl in your avatar too!

Was great to met you and a few others-and see some old friends again too!

Thanks to the dodgegeeks for hosting! There should be a video out there of Sara beating Jake in a race-It will probably go viral when it hits the net!:msp_w00t:

*No, you don't "forget" a girl like her! SAWING wood just isn't her thing
if ya know what I mean!

*Was good to meet you as well! Although that truck of yours kinda left me wondering at first!:msp_scared:

Great-To-Gether!

THANK YOU to Andy and Sarah for hosting a great GTG today!

Thank you also to all the folks who provided and prepared the FOOD!

Got to see many of the usual gang, meet some new folks, and try out few saws. No mosquitos and no mud.

(Took a bunch of photos, but it will take me a bit longer to get them posted, due to work and a weak Internet connection - Sorry)

I got home a little bit ago.

I HAD AN AWESOME TIME!!!!!!!!

Many thanks to Andy and Sarah and everyone else who made this a great day. THANK YOU!!!!

I had alot of fun and met some great people.

I learned I should just stick to the woodpile and stay away from the cants. lol. Man, I was outta my league there. :hmm3grin2orange:

Also, I almost committed a minor faux paus right off of the bat. Still being in firewood mode, I almost made the first cookie 30" long. :dizzy:

I got a couple videos.

Here's Andy noodling. I thought this was really cool the way they were discharging.

Tree Monkey's pipe saw.

I'll get more tomorrow. I'm hitting the sack as I am shot.

Again, fantastic time!!!!!

This is the only pic I got.

Many thanks to Andy and Sarah for hosting this. Food was excellent, company was excellent, venue was excellent. I just wish I'd had more sleep so I could stay later and have some fish. Maybe next time. :)

I'm home. Didn't take any pics. I did see 5R-INC heading home from the races on my way home.
Thanks Andy and Sarah for the great food and great time.
I can't wait to see the video of Sarah spanking Jake!

I'm barely keeping my eyes open... But I did have to say one thing before I pass completely out...

Oh ya. my saw's faster than Andy's. :poke: mwa ah ah ah ah ahhhhh.

Thanks, Tree Monkey!! you rock!

Had a blast, all. I'll put up pics & vids when I 've had some sleep.

Back at the ranch, 13+ hours of GTG and a stop at the local on the way home. Sorry no pics, there were lots of other cameras out today, so I left mine in the car.

Thanks to Sarah and Andy, Boyd, Baileys, Philbert, and anyone else that contributed to an awesome GTG.

Ted, don't feel bad. My saws (and chain) are outclassed when I go to a GTG with the saw nuts, but I could care less the other 350+ days a year. I challenge some of those chains to buck a tank of gas worth of wood first, then race. The hot rod ported saws I can't compete with, but they're fun to watch cutting cookies. Many were fun to run too, another thanks to all those who's saws I put my grubby fingerprints on today!

I almost wish IA was next weekend, then I wouldn't bother unloading the car.
