need help with my 261. scored piston

brand new to the site. moved to the east coast from Breckenridge CO and my 261 crapped out the first tree I cut. they say it's got a scored piston. I heard about possibly being able to do the 262 upgrade to this saw. Anyone ever done this? Also, anyone have any pics of a 261 muffler modification they've done. Also, what do I need to do to run this saw at sea level after running it at 11,000 feet-is it just a fuel mixture issue?

If the saw was tuned to 11,000 ft and you are close to sea level now the saw may have seized due to lean mixture. You need to richen the hi/lo adjustments (turn out).
