My neighbor's 036 Pro that he refused to sell to me for $300 last summer. He hardly ever uses it. It would have been fun breaking it in on some oak, elm, hackberry, and ash that I cut up last fall.

Husky 372XP, I really want one, would love to find one lightly used. I thought the various 50cc saws I have would be more than enough for firewood until I got a 5 cord load of tree lengths from a local tree co. Some of those statues were 36" in diameter, quite a work out for my 031AV or Jred 490. . I believe a 372 would be a nice sized saw for firewood without over doing it - I could be wrong, maybe its too much saw for firewood, but I would love to find out. Joe.

I missed getting both a Jred 111s ($350) and a Jred 70E ($60) in the last six months on CL. The 111 had a 3 foot bar, the 70 looked brand new. I wish I could time travel back, get some money and get both.

I miss it too...

Someone showed me the CL 111 but it was gone by the time I checked. I did get a McCulloch SP125C from landscape outfit in St. Paul about the same time. Biggest problem was the spark plug wire, easy fix and now I have a pair of 125's.

Overdoing it?? Too much saw for firewood?? Is that possible?

BIGGER - BETTER - FASTER is my theory... My 394XP and MS460 do a large amount of our firewooding. Why use a 50cc saw when a 95cc saw gets it done in 1/4 the time?
