You mix fuel into the bar oil? Or the consumption is 1:1? I'd think that's a whole lot of oil.. I use about 4:1 on the 65's with 24" bars.. maybe a little more fuel on the ported saws

Peter do you have a muffler support bracket? That screw below your muffler is for one I believe. On my 181, it didn't have one when I got it and I kept breaking bolts til I found out I needed one.

Well it's intention is to keep those long bolts from vibrating loose or breaking. So if your homemade bracket can achieve that than I'd say your good!
Looks like your bolts are quite a bit shorter. Here is an ebay listing for bracket and bolts. That shows what the factory one looks like. It secures under the dog as well like my 181.

So results are in on that epoxy.

It didn't hold up. I think part of the reason is I should have scuffed up the plastic first because it obviously not solvent based. It just skinned over the plastic and can be peeled off.
So I tried something new I saw at the lumber yard.

Seems like pretty decent stuff. Really sticky while it's activating. I'm glad I wore gloves!
After it cured it felt really hard. But the last inch of the wrap wasn't quite secure do I wrapped it with some electrical tape.

In case anyone was wondering this epoxy tape is holding up really well so far.
