Spare Part Organization

After picking up another lot of saws from the local DOT i realized i really need to find a good way to store/keep track of the parts i have. right now i have one storage tote of an 084 i need to put back together, another large tote of all chainsaw parts (all different model parts), and a few boxes scattered around of other stihl equipment parts.

So i need some ideas on how in the world i can organize the parts better. so how do you folks do it?

Xerox paper boxes. Relatively sturdy, stack nicely on a shelf/floor/under the bench, usually free if you/someone you know works at a place with a copy machine.
