Greg canceled my order for the 1308 coil. Apparently a newbe sent me the email. The search continues!:bang:

Sorry to be the messenger of bad news. Parts are definitely an issue for an 084.

I contacted a couple of businesses in UK and was told they could get the 1308 but could not ship to the US. I hope for the price it is NOS.

Unless they have it in stock they probably can't get it either (they definately can't get it from Stihl). Companies in the UK are guilty of not keeping up with NLA parts also.

I would agree 100%.

I don't plan on using the 084 like I do my 660. I have begun to accumulate used parts for the 084. I want to get enough to do a complete rebuild if necessary.
