Would one out of a plain old 45 work? As in the 40/45/49 series? I'm not too familiar with these saws, but do have a bunch of them.

Bryan

Yep a plain 45 would work. Don't know what's so special about the special as it is not mentioned in the IPL. Special sticker maybe. LOL. Here's a pic of the #'s on it. Thanks and let me know.

That's good info to know Kevin. Unfortunately, that coil won't work on the S E-Z. John needs one of the infamous 'blue coil' electronic ignitions for a Homelite Super E-Z. If somebody finds a match for that bugger (from some other, more common source) then there will be some happy Homelite guys. Swapping to a points ignition isn't easy with those saws, as the electronic ign saws have a different crank with no points cam cut on it. A fellow could use a points coil with an Atom/Nova type trigger though.

Thanks for the info..but now its not looking to good on the finding one issue:help:

I'm looking for Stihl TS350 powerheads. They must have electronic ignition. Condition isn't too important. I'm needing the ignition module of one pretty badly right now. These powerheads are used on anchor driving machines that a cable company here uses......they are getting older so parts units are needed.....

Thanks!!!!

Looking for a good piston/cylinder/ring for a Husqvarna 45 Special. Husky part# 503 44 08-02. Other models that will fit it and are same part# are Jred 2045, Husqvarna 245r and 245 RX. Have paper and some other minor stuff to trade. Let me know.

Thanks

I have a clean-enough-looking 45.... The pull-cord is frozen...and, haven't checked yet to see it the 'freeze' goes any deeper....:msp_ohmy:

I'll try to check it out, and get back to you. Please feel to keep after me.... If it is alright, you are welcome to it...the whole thing.

That would be great. Let me know and if I don't hear or I round one up I'll check back in with you. Know what it's like to be busy.

Looking for a good carb for a stihl 064.

I have the walboro WJ6? but cannot get the low to work and the lever has to be way high for it to even run. I do not have an ultrasonic bath yet to try and clean it out. I have already pulled and re installed the Welch plug so don't think that was the issue it must be deeper. I have one I borrowed off my other saw and it runs fine. Old carb has same issues on second saw.

I have some stuff and funds to trade. If there is not a known good one to trade has anyone had success with the china made ones that fit the 066/660?

Keith, send it to me if you want. I will run it through the USC for a couple of hours. No charge...just pay the postage.
