What saws do you have and what did you pay?

Poulan Wild Thing, an older model pre-emmissions. Lots of hours on this one and it shows. Needs new clutch drum and bearing and new recoil rope. I'm keeping to use as a lender and for cutting out stumps and dirty jobs. Paid $150.00 new, paid for itself within hours clearing storm damage. I hold no grudge against this saw.

Echo CS-440, brand new. Just got this from ebay for $205, needed a serious retune to run right on local gas out of the box. Cuts great with 20LP chain. Cut one cord of oak on Saturday, very smooth saw, hoping power will come up after a few more tanks.

Looking for used Makita 6401 when local HD sells old rentals off.

08' 357XP $ 799.00 CDN plus 14% tax with 18" bar and free 2nd chain. I sell a lot of my product to the company I bought it from, but it kind of burns my ass to know that I could of had almost two saws for what I paid for one! I was eyeing up a 346 but its the same price as my 357 and it's not the 50 cc N.E. model. A new 372 is on the shelf for $ 1008.00 CDN.

very nice 372 xp w/ 3 bars n 2 loops.$350 + 2 hrs of driving,found her on craigslist.Im thinking of naming it after that lil tiger in Frisco that was lookin to even up the score a bit.And to think I was considering doling out fresh bucks for a MS 361(did see a used one listed fer $450or so,wheres the justice?)
5yr old 026 ,somewhere around mid $200's,oh and a free United Rentals hat.
I would like to have one more small saw,in the 50cc range,to take its place,maybe another husky....

Too much for some, not so much for others...

I only have the runners listed, about that many more waiting for attention.

Most I paid for any was the 036 new with 16 and 25" bars. Don't remember for sure but suspect it was around $350 a few years back.

I would not dare try to total it up, my wife tries to keep pace buying CD's and DVD's and we would have to have a bigger house if she ever figured out round about how much I have "invested".

Well, after going through this whole list, I think I'll add.

In order of sale:

Canadien 276 $75 Needed good cleaning/points adjusted. Carb is giving me trouble now.
Homelite 750 Free Needed carb boot, chain, and carb rebuild kit.
Remington Logmaster PL-5R $40 Needed good cleaning/points adjusted/maybe a clutch?
Going to pick up tomorrow my most expensive saw yet: Homelite 1130G $100 no bar/chain.
