I've had a 362(pile-O-poo), I currently have a 365 and a 365/soon to be 372(one of these days), but to me they just don't have the durability built in like the 044.

What's the longest run time any of y'all got out of a 372?

I know I have a 15 year old 044 and a 13 year old. There good kids though...

My 372 is a 99 model but bought it off the dealer shelf 2001 or 02 something like that. Ported in 03 never had to do anything to it but replace handle, tank, and muffler. No fault of the saws though. A limb fell on it still runs like it did when new. i agree that they are both excellent saws but i think for me it all boils down to the 372. I have owned 044/440's and while they had the power to make me happy they just weren't as comfortable as my 372 which is why they got sold and my 372 remains as my go to saw. my 372 has helped me clear alot of land and has been ran hard in the process.

The problem with that is that we get into BIG trouble when we try to keep one of each....

So the fix for that is to have a Dolmar on the side.

I run my 044 Fall through spring because its ported. The 372 gets run in the summer time because its stock and legal for fire season.
