I too have a dead 350 that Im trying to bring back from the grave. Moody, what parts do you have??

Are there any fans of Shindaiwa saws out there that want to trade away a orange saw??? I have a Shiny that Im never gonna work on. Needs a fuel line if I remember right. If interested Ill check the model number, not a big saw, Little fella. Also got some 031 and 015 bits to throw out there if anybody is looking.

Its a 450.

i believe it to be a redmax in redmax colors lol

what's the price on that one? i'm trying to keep it within trading grounds. I've been getting into climbing a bit. dealt with a pine last week but got a huge hemlock on the same property to deal with. my buddy doesn't seem in to big of a hurry to take it down but it's leaning right over his house. 2' sections is the only way to get'er down. all I can say is I sure as hell wouldn't be sleeping under that tree :)

anybody got a top handle project? preferably husky but anything would do. I have been borrowing a buddies echo and it is one hell of a turd. 338xpt would be pretty cool.

I've got a 335xpt I would be willing to trade off....I've spent a ton of time and money on it and can get it to idle consistently....It vac tests 100%, tried 2 carbs, vented cap, etc. It doesn't run horrible, but just not quite right in my opinion. Gutsy when you're cutting with it though.

I've got a 335 with the same problem and it's the carburetor. You have to find a carburetor that wasn't originally for the 335 and swap all the stuff over. I believe there's several WT carbs that can be made to work.

rebuilt a 335XP

it was the weak-link intake manifold with a tiny puncture/crack.

as usual - just saying

that's the case I had.

but yea, you can never know what it is until you check that manifold to eliminate this option beyond any doubt.

EDIT:
it's an "XPT" not "XP" :p :D :)

Yep, I definitely don't find them to be a "regular wear item" like an intake boot of fuel line, but I did just find a cracked one a 2172 I just acquired. I guess it just doesn't pay to tighten some things with a 1/2" impact...

Got some new bars I don't need.

If you look at the photos, you can see that I marked the sleeves that they come in with numbers. Here's what they are:

Sounds like 2150 hardware is taken care of... Maybe?

Still need 026 Stihl 1/2 wrap handle.

Anyone have a good 365/372 crank laying around? Dozer Dan is gonna port me a saw, but I think I better replace my crank. Its a bit blued. Please let me know what you need for it. I have lots to trade or a small amount of cash and even some stamps.

Is the big end rod bearing crispy? I've seen the rod get the bluish color before but the rod bearing looked fined and ran for a number of years after.

Yeah... Its doesn't feel bad and rolls smooth, but the rollers are blued. My intent was to run it, but when Dan made me a deal I could not refuse I started to question it. I'd hate to finally have a ported 372 and have the rod bearing fly out. Were the bearings blued on the ones you ran?
