    Free Firewood Wanted

Looking for wood in East Central Ohio.... Carroll, Tuscarawas, northern Harrison, northern Jefferson, southern Columbiana counties. I can haul it out or you can drop it off, whatever works best for you. Thanks

    Just curious; How many Buckeyes

Buckeye here. Never burned it though. I don't know if there are too many in Carroll County, just south of the mason-dixon (Rt 30)

Fightin' the urge to burn... anyone else?

Lit mine last night for the first time this year(indoor stove). I tried to make it to 1 Nov. but the wife and kids had other plans!

    winter 08-09 wood pile pictures

Thanks, it's a CK30 hydro. It's at mom's now on grader duty. Her drive is washed out pretty bad and her husband is dragging my buddies 5' box blade behind it trying to clean it up. For firewood it's great. I can skid the logs out then transport them in the bucket to the trailer. If the logs...

    winter 08-09 wood pile pictures

Little but growing.... I just started burning last year. Propane was killing us and the wife's uncle had an indor stove he was getting rid of. So I installed it last year and harvested wood off my buddy's 10 acres. Nothing great but it save us $2200 which I promptly put toward a new saw (I...

    Damaged saw protocol?

Simple really.... I have a simple two part rule. If I borrow something and break it, I pay for it regardless of how much it costs. I never return equipment in worse shape than I borrow it. The other part is if I lend something and it gets broke I pay for it regardless of how much it costs...

I feel badly - what would you all do?

It's great you want to make it right but I have to agree with the others. You have no way of knowing what happened to that saw after it left your hands. In cases like these it's either all or nothing for me. Either I take it back for the same amount or it's all his to repair. If you give him $50...

    Chainsaw Photos

Stihl Sawing & Bruce, Yea I'm definitley planning to add to the collection. I have too many other hobbies though and it seems no matter what you do for fun you can spend some serious coin on it. Right now it's all about function for me. I need to cut firewood. This is my 2nd season burning...

    Chainsaw Photos

Well I'm not near as well heeled as some of you boys but here's my stable at the moment. Two 330 EVLP's and a 670. Second pic is the 670 with the new 20" GB bar hawaiipastryguy sent to me. Going to test it out later this week.

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

Just wanted to let everyone know pastryguy is a man of his word! Received a brand new 20" GB bar today. Nice, nice stuff. I'm going to head down to my buddies saw shop this weekend and pick me up a couple new chains. I'll have him retune it too since it's had about nine or ten tanks through it...

My new Husqvarna 359 is stuck!

Or post his info here if you think he wouldn't mind and it's allowed. Others in you area may be reading this site too and identifying a good dealer like that would be beneficial to all in your area.

    soo happy

I think he meant don't let anyone borrow it. Unless of course you're standing there watching them the whole time. Then you might as well be doing all the cutting yourself. As a general rule, most people who don't own decent OPE or equipment in general either don't know how to properly care...

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

You can bash them all you want. I doubt anyone will ever be able to change your mind. It's okay really. I (and many others) just don't agree that you have to pay huge money for a reliable saw. Like I said before, they surely don't lead the pack in too many categories other than "bang for...

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

Just out of curiousity how many saw manufacturers allow on-line sales and will still honor the warranty? (in the States that is). I'm asking, I don't know. Seems to me most if not all the big ones wouldn't "allow" this type of merchandising but I may be wrong about that.

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

Well it seems this one has veered way off course as most Echo-centric threads seem to do on this site. Bottom line is the Echo makes good saws by all accounts. There will be some who wet themselves when they read this. That's okay. I have kids, I can deal with it. So to answer the OP's...

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

Does HD provide these services??? Sounds like BS to me.

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

 :jawdrop: :censored: Still available? I doubt it is but it doesn't hurt to ask....

    What about an ECHO CS-400?

I've got two 330 EVLP's and a new 670. Absolutely reliable. The little 330's are really light and with a sharp chain cut really well. One was used on a tree farm for YEARS before my local dealer took it on trade. It sat in his storage room for a year and when pulled out it started on the 3rd...
