Sold 262XP Not Pretty But Good Mechanical Shape

Had this one bout 2 years and just haven't found time to fix it up. Too many projects! Ugly, but nothing broken except the chain brake flag. Bought this from a buddy in the lawn care business. He was the org owner and it spent most of the time riding around in an aluminum tool box, thus all...

    Mastermind 346xp

Got my 346xp NE back from Randy a few days ago. Damnedest thing I ever ran! :D Pulled a dead Oak up to the shop, I don't cut cookies, but did cut up the tree. This is the average size tree I cut, so it might explain why I like the 346xp so much. ;) I ran it along side my old 346 w/new 50cc top...

    Walbro HDA 191-1 for 346xp?

I see the Walbro HDA 191-1 carb is a replacement for the HDA 199? Does anyone know if the 191-1 is any good? Found a new one for a reasonable price. I have a newish Zama 357 replacement on a ported 346 that is giving me fits. It idles and cuts fine, but will not idle right after a long cut...

Want to Sell 562XP Muffler Modded

I ended up with two mufflers, only need one. This one got the baffle removed & the metal and tube cut out from under the deflector. A little raggedy on the inside & I ground into the bolt hole tubes, but welded up the damage. Not my best welding, but it wont show. This made a very noticeable...

Want to Sell Couple old Oregon bars

These are Hard Nose 18" 3/8 .050. Fits Poulan 3400, 245A and likely many other saws, but I don't know. One used but lot of life left, one new never mounted. I bought these in the late 80s' We ran these in the sandy woods of north Florida because they lasted so much longer than sprocket nose...

    Sold Poulan 3400

Running, complete Poulan 3400. I bought this saw in 1988, cut a lot of wood with it until I bought a 346xp in 2001, but still used it off and on. Never any problems with it at all, still has original fuel lines. P&C look very good, but my comp gauge wouldn't tighten up/seal so I didn't get a...

Nice old saw! Hard to believe these are 70cc in such a small package. 160 compression, piston & cylinder look very good, runs good, very strong, has a small JBWeld repair on the front of the fuel tank. PHO as the bar & chain are no good. $150 SOLD Thanks! USPS money order preferred. Might...

    Lightest 18" 3/8 Bar for 346xp

I want to get a 18" 3/8 .058 bar for my newer stock 346xp. My old 45cc ported 346xp will likely stay .325. But we'll see how this goes. I have a Sugi Hara on a 357xp and it's not so light in this size. Want a laminated bar, unless there is a light solid bar out there. Was thinking Oregon...

A Very Special 365 Special (Stump Broke)

Well, I picked up my new saw from Stumpy Monday. Stump Broke Special. What a badass saw! :hmm3grin2orange: It all started with me picking up a nice 2165 at an auction a few months ago. I ordered a OEM xpw top end for it, 75cc. Was showin it to Stumpy and we both agreed it ran too good to...

    357 carb on 346xp

I figured best to start a new thread, the quote from Brad below is from Wigg's filter thread. :pumpkin2: Brad, I just today put a new 357 carb on my old OE 346 and everything fit, except I had to trim a little plastic off the housing around the H/L screws. I used all the 346 parts. The intake...

    Picked up a 254xp today

Local Pawn Shop find. Pretty clean saw, not beat up too bad. New bar and chain. Comp feels good, runs but not good, acts like a carb problem, H screw all the way in. Will get into it tomorrow and see what's up. Anybody else got one? How's it cut? Mods? :msp_unsure:

    346xp carb help

Was the Walbro carb on the OE 345xp a problem, like on the 359/357? Guess I talked up my old 346 too much lately, lol, haha.:D After many years of trouble free service, now it wont idle very good, hard to start. I had to turn the idle down a while back, figured it was because of the MM. Now...

357xp It wont cure cancer, but it does cut wood!

As some of you will remember, I was asking what saw to get that had a bit more grunt than my old 346xp (which I love). I didn't want 70cc (that might change), or a very heavy saw. I was leaning hard toward a 357 but the price of a new one seemed too high to me. I couldn't find a MS361...

    346xp 357xp Sushi Bar

Sugi Hara, that is :D Had to give these bars a try. 16"(.325) on the 346 and 18"(3/8") on the 357. They seem to be built as good as they look. Will give em a good workout this fall. What y'all think?
