Splitter Table TSC 22 ton with pics

Found some time today to make my splitter table , its a fun easy project if anyone is on the fence about trying one. The dimensions are 20 '' by 30'' , the 30'' length extends far enough to cover and protect the filter . Used 1 1/2 angle , 3/16 thick , just bolt a piece of the angle to the I beam in the two 7/16 holes that are already there and one more hole on the one end for added strength if you want , then come off your angle at a upward slant and then add a piece across to make a four sided box . I used ruff cut boards for the rest of the table , with the upward slant it doesn't need to come off to use the splitter in the vertical position . If you position the angle the right way the boards will lay inside the angle and then just run a couple drill tipped tek screws to hold them down. There's not much to it once you get going on it , if anyone wants a couple pics let me know.

I am guessing you welded the frame yourself? I have 95' Brave 30 ton, I definitely need to make a table, been using three concrete blocks and ply wood for years, it works, but it's very ghetto. Your set up looks great. My problem is I"ll have to drill the I-beam. Not going anywhere for a while? :)

I bolted it to the frame using the holes that were already there and drilled one extra ,if you look close at the close up pic you see the bolts holding it on.. I wouldn't weld it to the frame because of warranty issues and also if you you ever wanted to take it off

Thanks tdb , I was tired of the one split half always falling on the ground , now its sitting there waiting for you , no more bending over !!!!
