make one?

Anyone happen to have a brake band for a Echo CS3000?I may have something you want in trade?

Can you make one from like an old briggs cheapie lawnmower starter spring? Just about every dude in the world who does small engines has one of those dead out in the back of the garage, similar sized steel isn't it?

I don't know but always wondered about that, just brake bands in general...they just look so close to mower starter springs....

If I was good at that stuff I could LOL

Just a heads up guys, a P 50 and a P51 take different cranks according to the part numbers, but I'm not sure why. I think it will fit, but you should check with someone smarter than me in the Pioneer thread to make sure.

IIRC, the 51 jug will fit the 50, but you have to swap the coil and flywheel too, because I know the ignition is different.

I'm 99% sure I have a p51 crankcase and a p50. ;)

Got a pic? If I have one I'll throw it in the box.

here's a few pictures of the one i got.i just hd this saw gave to me a few days ago.and i decided to put it in some wood to tune it up and rejust everything on it.untill it caught the wood on fire.

Now that looks like something we TN rednecks would do. :D

I just put a P50 crank in a P51 case, it's working just fine. The crank weights looked a little different but nothing that would make a difference.

4cyl2vy, I still have the P51 crank here if you need it still. It's got some light rust on it, but It'll clean up preety good I'd bet.

I am looking for the missing bits for the recoil starter on a Wards Powr-Kraft.

Have lots of small Homie XL-101 bits and the ever popular Walmart Poulan 2150 odds and ends to trade. Coin of the relm if push comes to shove.

Appears to be a Power Products AH-47 engine.

Needing the starter ratchet pawls, etc. for this just so I can check compression and spark.

Already tried the wrap-a-rope around the starter cup trick. Didn't work well.

Hey all,
I am looking for an Homelite XL12 clutch/chain cover (5/16" bar studs), and the short, cast bracket that holds the upper portion of the handle to the saw. I thought i could use a bracket from an SXL, but the angle is different.
LMK
Jim
Just remembered I also need one of the long muffler bolts for a late model Homelite SXL.

Bump.
I found the clutch/chain cover (thanks Treewacker) still looking for the handle bracket and the SXL muffler bolt.
