The HD2 filter on the 440/441/461 is as good as it gets. My choice is my ported 441CMR.
Im not talking about the filter , im talkin about the system itself.

No love for Jred? I would have thrown a vote to a 2172.
Any cures for the silver paint?
I see, and understand. The 441 does a good job, since they copied husky and all.
In the videos the 460 was running about twice the time as the 461 . Both had a new rs chain but the 461 had a 25 " the 460 had a 20" . I just sent out a cylinder today to have it ported [emoji6]that makes sense I think a ported 441 ,460, and 461Kobby, get that 460 ported and it will hang with the other two.
Sort of like a 661 version of the 461???
The 462cmr will make you happy my friend. Stay tuned, as there has been a lot of talk about it already..............If stihl would have put some stiff springs on a 461 along with some type of air injection and kept its basic design with the jug it has it would have been my favorite.
Yes but theres basically 3 372s in the poll. We need one red for variety. Just saying372 xt..same same

I think a 441 c-m would take a 044/440s lunch money with bigger bars , i never thought much of a stock 044 with 28"
Yes. It's a buzzer.Put a DP muffler cover on a 440 and it sings. 441 has more stock power but more weight and bulk. I cannot say that I like my 441 better than my 044. The 044 wore me out with vibes though. Worse was the 460; that thing was a high vibration machine.
I agree 100%. And yes the 462 will be salty, it is a Stihl after all. I own a 261c and the 441cmr,2253/2260. But the majority of my saws that get used regularly are carb models. As much as I love the auto tune/ m-tronic stuff, I still am hearing a lot of static about it through the dealer net. I think Stihl has it pretty well figured out, but there has been some solenoid issues as of late, and husky is def.got an issue or two. I think a lot of the issue is from dealers who don't understand it, or want to service it. Sooner or later all 2 stroke OPE is gonna have it. I for one have no issue with carrying/ using a tuning screw driver.Theres alot of people im encountering around me havin m-tron issues im keepin standard carby saws on deck for a while..im sure that new 462 is gonna be expensive.

how much more bulk/ weight can the 441 have over the 440??? I think the odd shape of the 441 fools people to some extent.Put a DP muffler cover on a 440 and it sings. 441 has more stock power but more weight and bulk.
