There was a group of people that recently performed extensive mods on a bunch of brand new 441 & then ups them to a chosen member for testing & final decision who did the best job. One of the fellows claims the best rpm for that saw is 14,200 rpm below that with the muffler opened up it was spitting to much fuel. All the information you need is on that other site . Think you know.

Forget the 441, and buy a 575xp, or the "new and improved" version that is coming out....

The 575xp is not even close in comparison. The 441 has almost one more horsepower. The two saws are night and day.

what does the "new and improved" 575xp have that's different then it's current model?..it's in the same class as the 441 stihl, just as the 372 is in the same class as the 440...

I didn't mention the 357xp, that is in line with the ms 361. If you look at my reply, I mentioned the 575xp....

I'll be honest, I really have no clue about Husky's. Been running Stihl's professionally for 15 years and have never had one. I did though, just order a 385xp.
