Three 350's all put together differently to see if I could quantify the effect of some changes.
"Fugly 350"... the subject of that last series of video's where I hacked up an aftermarket cylinder
"Farmer Jones" build with no base gasket, flat top piston, and muffler mod.
"Simple Man" build with just no base gasket & opened up stock muffler.
Tested them with the same bar and chain (Oregon bar & semi chisel chain)... just swapped it from saw to saw. The test log is hard sugar maple about 18 inches in DIA. Same gas, same temp, same day!
