Nice Pic's. What 's there?

these are just various pics i have taken with my phone throughout the year. some are of the logs, felling the tree, skidding, trucks and trailers and equipment.

getting them from the phone to the computer and then to this site is a bit tricky for me.

Try emailing the pics to yourself then they will post easily. With my last post I was curious on what species of trees were they?:msp_thumbsup:

Hey, how do you go about betting the owner of the property to let you cut those trees? How much do you usually make from a job like that?

Nice Mack Superliner. What engine does it have in it?

i just bought that truck last december. it replaced that red pete you may have seen in a few of the pics. its a really nice, been well taken care of old truck. that bad boy has a mack E9 in it. 998ci 450hp. i just put a set of 6 inch straight pipes on it last week.

those first set of pics with the big logs/trees was actually a very small job. it was 2.5 acres, but had nearly 50 mbf doyle scale. on that job, i had a 5 man crew. 1 faller, 2 skidder operators, a man in the knuckleboom with a bucksaw, and i did the trucking. we did that job in 2 days. it grossed $26k, we had a 50% split on the sale.
to get the job, i guaranteed the owner 10k.
