Yes, the aforementioned devices, in their slightly off hue tone of blue, are a suitable surrogate for their fire engine red half brothers, and will deliver a sufficient butt kicking as to render CM's into a shriviling assortment of magnesium and plastic.

Hmmm...

I went shopping for a 70cc saw recently. Had my eyes on the Husky 372XP and the Stihl 441.

I ended up with a new Husky 576XP - no Auto Tune, heated handles or Full-wrap; just a straight XP. I've only made a few cuts with it, so haven't developed a strong feeling for how it'll run. I bought on-line for $839 with 24" B&C, shipped.

Should I have stuck with the 372? Local shops don't have 'em any more, and sell the 576 instead (or smaller, consumer models).

A little less raker depth and that saw would be "cutting."....:msp_thumbup:

here is the same saw in fir ,with a new untouched off the roll chain semi skip square, rakers untouched ,a full skip may be better in this fir ,the chain was kind of plugging with chips so couldn't lean on as hard

are you running full comp or skip chain in that video ? engine sounds a little more lean than i run mine ,,i know im kind of rich ,if i pull my muffler cover off iv'e got some oil residue in there ,im kind of curious how full skip on a 28 inch bar would do on mine

I never run skip...........well rarely. I've run a 32" full comp on my 460 with no problem.

The wood you guys cut needs more area for chip clearance I think though......

That west coast wood is essentially string whips held together with maple syrup...
And stuff.... Ya know...
"SOFT WOOD"
