Hey everyone well I went out this weekend and bought me a new stihl 027 it has a 20in bar my old stihl was a 20in also and it was just worn out and it was heavy it felt like sometimes I would need a harness to help hold it up anyway I have a white oak I drop last sep and that saw went thur that tree like cutting butter and all this time I have been working myself to death with that old one anyway just thought I would share my joy with my new saw

Did you mean to say (or type) MS 270..... Either way, I sure would love to have one of those new model Stihls, 260, 270, 290, or 310.... Congrats on yours !!

old saw

my old saw is a stihl 20in bar but I do not know size all I know it is heavy. I told the guy at the store I might bring it in and see if it can be reworked at a fair price or just leave as it is. will see I do not know if they can get parts for it anymore
