I use my SP125C every chance I get on big wood. This is a 24" Chinese Chestnut that went down. I did a bore, then cut to the bottom, then cut the top at as slight angle towards the stump so the butt log would fall away and not pinch the bar. (the second cut isn't in the video.)

I like running the old Shindaiwa 500‘s. Enough saw for most of my wood cutting needs.

Alpina Prof 55, well designed, & put together, good "grunt" for size, although not a " screamer"it takes a lot of loading to take the revs down, only oils when the chain turns, so no excess "goo" about + the exhaust note sounds like an Italian sports car.

I have a little Husky 35 that gets used all the time for little jobs.. cackles loudly, and runs great.. Leaks bar oil from somewhere so I gotta top it up before I go to work.. It was cheap and good
I like the L65's as well, nice low tone to them and they really wake up with a little port work.. they are pretty slow in stock form
Haven't finished building the 2100's I have, I do love the sound of them as well
My go-to saw now for anything bigger is my 394.. Noodles a big chunk of wood in half faster than you can put it on a splitter
I would like to get a 288 and a 272 to round out my 10 saw plan

I love my poulan micro saws or s25da series.....My fave to grab and use......
