If it have bosch ignition it may fool you. It will have spark but it is not strong enough. I have same problem. Fix for ignition is in on forum.

It can be diference in carb( jet )but that was diference in europe. Also the type of muffler.

In Europe the minimum is 95 octanes. All fuel is unleaded. You can chose betven 95 ,98 or100 octanes. Octanes are fuel resistanc to self ignition. Since 1988 we can't buy 87 octanes fuel. We dont have alcohol in fuel by now but I belive we will have it in future. In our country ( Croatia)...
