    SawTroll

Question is what will 50,000 SawTroll posts weigh? Everyone knows they will lack sideways balance. They will always tip over on the Husky side.

MS 460 Lots of oil leaking behind clutch

Not much of a chance of it being the hose unless its cracked where the pump fits against it. Best thing to do is just pull the clutch and see whats going on in there. Should be pretty easy to figure out.

    Chainsaw dynometer build.

If this works well I have a feeling this wont be the last one built.

Bar oilers: Too much? Too little? Just right?

It seems pretty obvious that the husky lacks the chain speed needed to overcome the viscosity of the bar oil.:msp_tongue:

Is there any real gain by muffler modding an 066?

If it is an early 066 the muffler should have the DP cover and should not be very restrictive as is.

    MS 650 Ported

I have ported a 650 for a friend of mine and it turned out pretty good, but its no ported 660 by any means. Seriously port the head you have if thats what you want to do. If done correctly it will run better than a stock 660.

There will be other clues to help figure out if this was a straight gassed saw or a lean seize. Piston Failure Analysis This is a good read.

    440 mods

Sounds like you are on the right track. The USB port might also allow you to down load some cool software to improve the fuel mileage.

Can this original McCulloch bar be repaired?

That chain looks unsharpened to me.

    039 old faithful

I doubt the pump is bad as they give very little trouble. I am willing to bet the line coming to the pump has a blockage.
