sorry to all of you waiting on saws and cylinder kits, due to an unforseen kidney stone having me down and in the er a couple of times so far im already nearly a week behind on my saw work. it hit me late saturday night and ii ended up in the er on sunday evening when it got so bad i just couldnt handle it anymore. i got to the er and it was full. i wallowed in the floor for over an hr and a half before they got me in. and finally hooked me up to some relief. by that time i was dehydrated from throwing up and couldnt begin to hold down fluids to try and pass it. they got me doped up and halfway rehydrated and sent me home. i lasted tikk tuesday night at 2 am and bqack i went. i hadnt ate anything or held any drink
down and was still in severe pain. this time they got me right in and 40-45 min later i was hooked up to a drip . it took 6 bags to get me hydrated and lots of nausea medicine to stop my heaving. i figured they would keep me until i had flushed it out but nope. i am at home still cant eat but can drink some and am heavily medicated for the pain right now. as soon as this is over ill be back in the shop getting saws out to the owners. again,im sorry about the hold up.

That's horrible to hear. I've watched my father deal with them three times and know you aren't feeling well. Saws will wait.. take it easy and hope it passes soon.

I feel for you. Ive had kidney stones myself. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hope they get out or they bust them up for you. Dad had some years back and he ended up having them busted in a pool with an ultrasound. One was 10mm long and 2mm thick:msp_ohmy:

Oh come on. Buck up buttercup! I had a colonoscopy yesterday with a camera the size of a loaf of bread and I'm back on my feet today. Heck I even heated up frozen lasangna, well most of the way, for dinner last night.

J/K of course. Get well soon and get back to work sooner.

You mean to tell me they will not let you work on a saw in the ER? :dizzy: :msp_w00t:

Sorry to hear of your misfortunes!

My wife had some kidney stones broken up with ultrasound. Those things are no fun! I was getting ready to go cut wood with a buddy, and she came out to tell me that I could go but she needed to find someone to watch our little girl. Her mouth said one thing, but the pain she was showing in her face was greater. Needless to say, I didn't get any wood cut that day. Oh, the ER Dr. was the same one that treated me when I came in from putting the van in the ditch. He might know us on a first name bases! :msp_w00t:

Hope you get better soon. The say kidney stones are the closest a man will come the experiencing childbirth.

Sorry to hear about this Terry.
My dad has had em three time over the years and I can honestly say I have never seen anything get him down so bad.

they say it only hurts when the stone is moving. well let me tell ya sumthin. this little bugger is racing circle track in there and but needs to be getting on the freeway to out of there

i know what you are going through terry,, about 9 years ago i passed several stones,, 1 of them was so bad it put me to my knees and about puked,, a friend of mine had to have them busted up so he could pass them,, hope you get back on your feet soon

trying to cut the tension here a bit so don't ban me,,, but this is what i would do to get it out fast,,, take your air compressor,, crank it all the way up,,, take the air nozzle and put it on the end of your hangy down thingy,,,, open the nozzle all the way up,,, that will put 150 psi into your system,, it will expand all the tubes and orifices,, then when you remove the air line it will sound like a whoopy cushion and it will come flying out like a bullet:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:
and yes i know terry is in pain

get better soon terry. there are lots of us that haven't even got a saw ported by you yet :) i don't know what pain kidney stones create or how the pain compares to child birth but i heard that kidney stones is the worse pain known to man. you almost want to die. my grandma had kidney stones and she said they are worse then child birth. just sayin
