Thanks mate, that is significant. That piston combined with the lowering of the cyl is well on the way to a healthy 395.

LOL, ya. My hoarding problem may be coming back real bad if ya know what I mean. I saw the guy today and told him he will be getting a ported saw, he was grinning. But if this thing runs too good, well I duno!!!!!!!!!! Oh and crown thickness is .135, so you could do a mean popup with this piston. I got a 395xpw here that is next, I may do a popup with that one, on a Meteor piston.

394 and 395 porting

I'd be interested in what you decide to do to the 394xp.

Well folks!! She's all done! Well, sorta. Spent the majority of the morning assembling the whole saw LOL, had to borrow the muffler and gasket off my 394 since I didn't have that alu plate to go behind the muffler, I might just leave this muffler on here though since its already ported, and also had to borrow a recoil starter off another saw until I fix the one that belongs to this.

Vids are uploading now, but will be a while since they are very large HD vids.

I think it runs pretty good, only just got a quick tune on it now, set to 13K and still 4stroking nicely, 7t sprocket, full comp off the roll LGX. My 371 I just did I think cuts right with this 395 in this size of wood!! Though it has an 8t rim

Here are some pics.

That would be a deal if I had the green or needed the saw. 600.00 sounds cheap. It's probably worth at least 800.00.
